This isn’t really about me—I just wanted you to know there’s a real human behind this who genuinely loves connecting good people and helping meaningful matches happen.
Bosanski Spoj began with a pattern I kept seeing over and over again.
Over the years, I introduced friends and family members who were genuinely looking for something serious. Three of those introductions eventually led to marriage—not through swiping or chance, but through intentional, thoughtful connections.
With a background in psychology, I’ve always been interested in how people form relationships. But the real motivation behind Bosanski Spoj came from countless conversations with cousins, friends, and members of the Bosnian community who all shared the same struggle.
It’s not just hard to find the right person. For many, it’s hard to meet anyone at all.
The Bosnian community is spread across the United States and around the world. Many Bosnian-Americans were born here, away from tight-knit local communities, and aren’t naturally connected through traditional networks. Unless you attend a conference, intentionally seek out a gathering, or happen to live near a large Bosnian hub, opportunities to meet someone with the same cultural background are limited.
On top of that, modern dating has introduced new challenges. I hear it often—people don’t approach each other in person like they used to. Messages go unsent. Conversations don’t start. Even when interest exists, hesitation and uncertainty get in the way.
Bosanski Spoj was created to bridge that gap.
